The Ballermann hit “Layla” is full of sexism. In Würzburg it is now banned at the folk festival. What does that mean for the Ballermann party on Schwörmontag in Ulm?

“Layla” is the name of the current number 1 hit in the German music charts. Who these days in marquees also in the region around Ulm and Neu-Ulm is, can’t avoid the Ballermann hit. So far that was also in Wuerzburg so. That’s enough of that. Because the lyrics are sexist, the city forbids “Layla” from being played in the marquee at the local folk festival. Next oath monday Not only will a big Ballermann party take place on the Münsterplatz under the motto “Mallorca meets Ulm” – everywhere in the city people will be celebrating on the streets to music. So how does the city and/or the promoter feel about the song by DJ Robin and Schürz?
