The National Autonomous University of Mexico, the largest public university in the country, invites Spanish-speaking people living outside of Mexico who have not completed high school to register for its online baccalaureate program.

Known as [email protected], the UNAM Distance Learning Baccalaureate program is designed for people of any age, it is an accessible way to acquire knowledge and obtain the certificate that in the United States is equivalent to a high school diploma. The school offers full scholarships.

In addition to completing that level of studies, another of the greatest benefits of taking the online baccalaureate from UNAM is that it can be the gateway to an online bachelor’s degree from UNAM, without the need to take an admission exam, according to with official information on their website.

The requirements to study the distance baccalaureate of [email protected] are:

Original high school certificate with a minimum average of 7.

Original birth certificate.

Proof of residence abroad.

CURP (for Mexican people).

The call remains open until August 29. It is not necessary to have the documents ready at the time of online registration, they will be sent later by parcel.

Students will be able to connect to online classes from any device and will receive personalized attention from advisors throughout their studies.

Classes take place at the student’s pace and schedule, using texts, videos and goodbyes in Spanish.
