KALININGRAD, September 16. / TASS /. A five-year-old girl died from the bites of a dog, acquired by her parents, in the village of Roshino, near Kaliningrad. A criminal case was opened, TASS was told on Sunday by the representative of the regional investigation department of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation Natalya Gatsko.
"On September 15, 2018, law enforcement agencies received a report about the death of a five-year-old girl in the village of Roshchino in the Gurievsky district, according to preliminary data, a dog was bitten by a child acquired by parents about two weeks ago," Gatsko said.
An investigation is being carried out in the criminal case initiated under part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code ("Causing death by negligence"). To determine the exact cause of the death of a child, a forensic medical examination is appointed, and interrogations of witnesses are conducted.
