With the escalation underway, the coronavirus pandemic still in force and the future in the short, medium and long term in the air in most aspects of life, the Unió Esportiva and Uni Girona CB have decided to launch -to the pool. Both entities, with the collaboration of the City of Sarrià de Ter, have created their first joint campus for this summer. Aimed at boys and girls between 6 and 14 years old, it will have handball as its guiding thread and will be divided into levels, from initiation to sport to improvement.
It will be held from June 29 to July 31 in the pavilion of Sarrià and will take place in weekly shifts. The organizers are very aware of the current situation and all activities will be adapted to comply with all the measures currently recommended by the health authorities to prevent Covid-19. “Right now we have to help each other between clubs, taking advantage of the infrastructures and resources to carry out all kinds of projects. It’s an important agreement, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to make this campus “, explains Cayetano Pérez, president of the Uni. His counterpart in Sarrià, Joan Llunell, is “very happy” with the initiative and states that “it is interesting to offer a handball campus for our members and supporters, due to the economic situation it is very difficult to find outings for children ».
