The United States won a historic victory against Samoa, in an even and changing match, which was defined on the last play, with a penalty from Will Hooley, which allowed the Eagles to win 30-29.

The match was played in San Sebastian, Spain and the best was seen in the first stage, which was entertaining and on several points. In fact, at rest the islanders went up, by 21-20.

The American team took advantage in the 70th minute, with a try by Cam Dolan, but a penalty three minutes from the end had returned the advantage to the Samoans, who could not keep the difference and fell to the Americans.
