University clinic Cologne: visit without corona test – Rhineland – news

| |

Nevertheless, certain rules apply

At the University Clinic Cologne, patients from the sixth day of treatment can only be visited at certain times, between 3 and 7 p.m. every day. The following applies: Only one visitor per patient and day for a maximum of one hour. In addition, visitors must register in advance in order to receive a registration ribbon. Without one, they will be denied access to the hospital.

Visits are still not possible at the municipal clinics in Merheim and Holweide – apart from a few exceptional cases, for example with patients who are dying. In the opinion of the clinics, rapid tests are too unreliable to generally reopen hospitals to visitors.
