Urgent: Tunisian Union issues statement on Ahli's insurance in Rades

The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF), headed by Wadih Al Jarra, issued a statement this morning confirming during its meeting with the Ministry of the Interior in order to take the necessary measures to secure the match between Al Ahli and Al Tergi of Tunisia.

This comes within the framework of the keenness of the Tunisian League, to exit the game in a safe manner, especially after the presence of news by the masses to stir riots in the stands and out of the ball.

Al Ahly will be a guest of Esperance of Tunisia on Friday at the Olympic Stadium in the second round of the African Champions League.

The Tunisian University statement was as follows:

"On Saturday evening, November 3, 2018, a meeting was held between the Ministry of the Interior and the President of the Tunisian Football Confederation to discuss the final leg of the Champions League final between Esperance and Al Ahly.

He added: "The Directors confirmed the Ministry's readiness to secure the match with full capacity. The AU has been informed that the Tunisian Football Federation remains committed to its requests in the previous communiqué, Tunisian football ".

The statement concluded: "The League continues to communicate with the African Union and considers that its meeting held on Saturday evening is an open meeting."
