The Supreme Court in Washington ruled on Friday that the constitution does not grant a right to an abortion. This means that a nationwide law that is almost 50 years old is history.
As expected, the US Supreme Court overturned the almost 50-year-old right to abortion. The conservative majority on the Supreme Court ruled by a 6-3 vote on Friday that the US Constitution does not prohibit states from regulating or even banning abortion rights themselves.
