He starred in 1990’s ABC miniseries “Es”: US actor Harry Anderson. Now he died at the age of 65 years.
Policemen responded to an emergency call from Anderson’s home in the city of Asheville, North Carolina on Monday morning (local time) and found him dead there, police said. A crime can not be assumed.
In the television series “Night Court,” Anderson personified Judge Harry T. Stone, a young lawyer who casually negotiates cases at the Manhattan Criminal Court at night.
The series ran from 1984 to 1992 in the US network NBC. In the series Anderson could also prove his skills as a magician. He played a major role in 1990 in the ABC miniseries “It” after the book by Stephen King.
The entertainer David Copperfield praised Anderson as a “truly talented actor and magician”. He had “inspired generations of magicians with his unique style,” he wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Anderson leaves two children from his first marriage to ex-wife Leslie Pollack and his wife Elizabeth Morgan.
