Mexico City /
The government of the United States extradited to Mexico Ramírez Luna Israel, who is required by the justice of the state of Guanajuato for the crime of qualified homicide.
According to the complaint against him, on January 4, 2009, Ramírez Luna was at a party in the town of Santa Tomás Huatzindeo, municipality of Salvatierra, Guanajuato, where he began a fight against Omar García; the attendees to the celebration had to separate them.
Later, Israel returned to the parking lot with a machete, and accompanied by his brother Mauricio Ramírez Luna.
When Garcia was about to leave the party with Rodolfo Villegas Villafuerte, he was shot by Mauricio, while Israel killed Omar with a machete.
The foregoing is found in case No. 16-xr-90095 NC., Of the California District Court, in the United States.
Two witnesses identified Israel Ramírez Luna as the person who fought with Omar and murdered him. Israel was charged in Guanajuato with two counts of aggravated homicide, for which reason the sole criminal judge of the party based in Salvatierra, Guanajuato, ordered him to be apprehended.
The extradited was guarded and transferred by Agents of the Public Ministry of the Federation, aided by personnel of the Agency of Criminal Investigation, assigned to Interpol Mexico, who delivered the custody of the defendant to agents of the Procurator of Guanajuato, later to make it available to the judicial authority that requests it.
With this act, the number of 88 people extradited to Mexico in the current administration and the sixth so far this year was reached.
