US envoy meets Taliban push for Afghan peace talks

Washington's new Nobel Peace Prize laureate met with Taliban officials in Qatar on Friday. One person familiar with the assembly said the Trump administration has intensified its efforts to create a roadmap for talks to end its 17-year war in Afghanistan.
