Vaccination centers in Lower Franconia: Astrazeneca only for people over 60

The Conference of Health Ministers (GMK) is suspending corona vaccinations with Astrazeneca nationwide for the time being for people under 60 years of age. The decision of the GMK members on Tuesday evening applies nationwide with immediate effect – and thus also for the Lower Franconia region. The background to this are further cases of rare cerebral vein thromboses that were reported in a temporal context after a vaccination with Astrazeneca. The Bavarian Health Minister Klaus Holetschek emphasized: “The positive message is: The vaccine from Astrazeneca should continue to be vaccinated for people who are 60 years of age.
