It’s here 3rd edition of the wine auction which will take place in Ménerbes (Vaucluse) to help the Apt hospital. These sales accompany the call for donations launched by the establishment for modernize its 209 rooms.
More than necessary collection because of the Covid
The appeal was launched in 2016 by the hospital management with the aim of raise more than a million euros in four years. But with the impact of the coronavirus, several fundraisers and fundraisers have already been canceled, including the 2020 wine auction. The hospital is therefore behind schedule to finish the arrangement.
For this edition, 120 lots of wine (more than 300 bottles) will be put on sale thanks to donations from wine merchants, restaurateurs, distributors but also individuals in the region. The catalog can be found on the Apt hospital website.
The organizers hope to collect at least 10,000 euros or the amount collected during previous editions of the auction according to information from the Tuesday Echo.
The auction will take place on Saturday July 24 at 5.30 p.m. at the Maison de la truffe et du vin du Luberon.
The lots will be exhibited on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 July from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This sum allows buy beds and multimedia terminals which will be used to equip the rooms.
