Venezuela registers 75 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 75 cases of COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, 70 due to community transmission and five imported, bringing the confirmed total to 544,525, 919 active cases, while the number of recovered is located in 537 thousand 792 patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Sunday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through its account on the social network Twitter, @delcyrodriguezv.

It reported that the community cases are located in the states: Mérida (45), Yaracuy (9), Caracas (5), Zulia (4), among others described below:

Mérida has the highest number of infections in six of its 23 municipalities: Santos Marquina (16), Libertador (14), Campo Elías (8), Sucre (5), and others that are mentioned in the following slide:

There are five imported cases. It is about a man and four women from Panama and Spain with entry through La Guaira.

In week 132 and day 924 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

– Total infections: 544 thousand 525.

– Recovered patients: 537 thousand 792 (99%).

– Current active cases: 919.

– Total deceased: Five thousand 814.
