Viagra bosses question the sale amid fears that the little blue pill will be abused by men who "do not need them"

DRUG CEOs are looking into Viagra sales in the face of fears that the little blue pill will be used by people who do not need it.

Maker Pfizer is investigating because people who have no problems with the sack unjustly pick up the sex drug because they think they are going to live longer.

The pills are also often taken with illegal drugs such as cocaine, which increases the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Experts say the drugs, which were sold over a year ago and without a prescription, can also cause dizziness.

Abuse can lead to unsafe sex and double the chance of a sexually transmitted infection, a study shows.

Pfizer will work with the Government's Regulatory Agency for Drugs and Health Products (MHRA).

It will be examined whether chemists observe measures to explain the risks of Viagra and go through a safety checklist prior to sale.

& # 39; VERY RISKANT & # 39;

The group for erectile dysfunction reported that the abuse of Viagra – medically referred to as Sildenfal – can be "very risky", especially in existing diseases.

A spokesperson added, "The main myth is that people believe Viagra will help them for hours without realizing that if they do not already have erectile dysfunction, they will have little effect.

"As with all medications, it's important that your symptoms are reviewed by a healthcare professional to ensure that Viagra is safe and appropriate." Pfizer said it is constantly working with authorities to monitor the safety of all of its medicines.

The investigation came after Mr Mark Hendrick had asked what measures were taken to prevent the sale of Viagra to men who did not need it.

VIAGRA pills and similar medicines were prescribed for 1,055 services last year – an increase of 14 percent in two years – a request for information. Experts believe that the increase in sexual performance problems is related to a higher PTSD concentration.
