Join our subsidiary TotalEnergies E&P USA, Inc. in Houston!
You will work with state-of-the-art technologies, learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the production of extremely difficult deep offshore deposits. The company’s portfolio in the United States is made up of onshore and offshore OBO assets with widely varying geological characteristics and maturity levels.
Optimizing developments and maximizing production requires a thorough synthesis of all available information and effective teamwork in order to identify, quantify and value future opportunities. As a member of our team, you will also experience the release of new developments. In collaboration with the operator, the understanding of the behavior of the oil fields will be calibrated according to the observations and the development strategy adjusted accordingly.
Your missions will be the following:
Analyze and validate geological data;
Define deposition models, based on cores, logs and analogues in collaboration with our experts;
Ensure the synthesis of all static data;
Build geological models;
Ensure the correct assessment of the volumes in place and the associated uncertainties:
Participate in dynamic synthesis with reservoir engineers;
Ensure the archiving of data and studies in the appropriate reference databases;
Participate in subsoil studies to define plans for the appraisal or development of hydrocarbon fields;
Monitor HPHT (High Pressure, High Temperature) drilling operations, and acquire subsurface data;
Participate in the achievement of well objectives.

Context and Environment
The job holder will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France scale and accommodation will be provided by the EN COLOCATION subsidiary.

Required profile
Training sought:
Engineer’s degree or Master’s degree in Petroleum and Gas Geology
Technical skills :
Data analysis
Understanding of geostatistics
Cartography
Volumetric evaluation
Data managment
Computer skills:
Mastery of the pack Office
Geomodeling skills (experience with Petrel is a plus)
Basic geophysical interpretation (experience on any software is a plus)
Analysis and interpretation of well logging (experience on any software is a plus)
Languages :
English : level C1
French : level C1
MANDATORY DRIVER’S LICENSE (1 service vehicle for 2 LIFE)
