Since the beginning of the summer, the Adventure Valley adventure park in Durbuy has been open for #LikeMe adventure, a course with various activities decorated in the theme of the popular Ketnet series.
Last weekend, however, several viewers were surprised that the promo video for the course was still shown on the channel, after Durbuy was badly hit by the water disaster. “The town needs more these days,” it sounded.
“A justified response”, says VRT spokesman Hans Van Goethem. “Last Thursday we already decided to remove that commercial from television. Now is not the right time to broadcast it. However, something must have gone wrong with the timing, so that it was on television on Sunday. That will no longer happen.”
