Disney + has revealed more details about the adaptation in series format that will make Percy Jackson, a character that actor Logan Lerman had previously given life to, finally, the name of the actor who will give life to the character has been said.
The same Rick Riordan, writer of Percy Jackson, was in charge of revealing that the 13-year-old actor, Walker Scobell, will be in charge of giving life to the demigod.
Riordan noted that Wallker did an excellent job of auditioning.
“Walker Scobell is an incredibly talented young man who blew us away with his audition tapes for the role of Percy. Many of you discovered how great Walker is in the movie The Adam Project, where he brings to life as the young version of Ryan Reynolds “.
It is worth mentioning that Riordan was never a fan of the film versions of Percy Jackson, of which only two films were released, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (2010) and Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters (2013), both directed by ChrisColumbus.
