On a new NBA night, the victories of the Warriors (propelled by Klay Thompson), Celtics, Bucks and Clipers stood out.
Klay Thompson directed the victory of the Golden State Warriors over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday with 42 points and twelve triples, in a day of NBA in which the Brooklyn Nets lost to the Los Angeles Clippers in their first game after the official signing of Kyrie Irving by the Dallas Mavericks.
WARRIORS 141 – THUNDER 114
Without Stephen Curry, who will be out for several weeks due to an injury to his left leg that partially affected his ligaments, the Warriors they sank the Thunder with 26 triples, twelve of them the work of Klay Thompson.
Klay thus joined Curry as the only players in NBA history capable of adding such a record twice. The absolute record for triples in the American league belongs to Thompson himself (14 in 2018), followed by Zach LaVine’s thirteen in 2019 and Curry’s in 2016.
It was the second consecutive victory for the Warriors, who occupy the seventh position in the West (28-26).
What a night for Klay Thompson.
