DONOSTIA – The Guipuzcoan company Wavegarden will inaugurate the world’s first indoor tropical surf beach on July 1 in a new private residential complex in Praia da Grama (Brazil).
The director and founder of the company, Josema Odriozola, has affirmed this Friday in a statement that with six operating surf parks, this project helps demonstrate that its technology “can be adapted to different business models.”
The 52-module facility built in collaboration with KSM Realty, It is the second largest Wavegarden Cove in the world and offers more than 20 different types of waves “designed for all levels and ages”.

The complex of which it will be part is ecological and was designed by the Brazilian architect Gui Mattos. It is an oasis in the interior of the country and has a tennis court, a golf course, a horse riding center, restaurants and an agroforestry forest for growing food, among other facilities..
Wavegarden has closed an agreement for KSM to represent it in Brazil and has 6 surf facilities that operate on four continents and with more than 45 projects signed in different phases of development.
