We must save the honor of soldier Giroud!

Until the last moment, the coach of the France team, Didier Deschamps, hesitated to select Olivier Giroud, a 36-year-old footballer born in Savoie and having spent his childhood in Froges, a small village in Isère of 3000 inhabitants ( a compatriot from Isère!) where he began to develop his skills as a footballer. I played football and I observed this player well: centre-forward, tall, (1m93), good head, has flexibility, elegance and an imposing presence in the opposing defences. However, since the return of Karim Benzema, Olivier Giroud has been neglected and relegated to a role of second-class player, or even downright unselected by Didier Deschamps for the League of Nations in June 2022.
