We must save the honor of soldier Giroud!

Until the last moment, the coach of the France team, Didier Deschamps, hesitated to select Olivier Giroud, a 36-year-old footballer born in Savoie and having spent his childhood in Froges, a small village in Isère of 3000 inhabitants ( a compatriot from Isère!) where he began to develop his skills as a footballer. Then at the age of 13, his qualities took him to the Grenoble Foot 38 club, where he continued his studies in parallel: baccalaureate and license at the University of Grenoble in order to become a sports teacher or physical trainer in the event of failure in football. However, since the return of Karim Benzema, Olivier Giroud has been neglected and relegated to a role of second-class player, or even downright unselected by Didier Deschamps for the League of Nations in June 2022.
