There is a chance of heavy wind gusts on Saturday from 11 a.m. in the coastal provinces and South Limburg. The KNMI has therefore declared code yellow for South Limburg, Zeeland, South Holland, North Holland, Friesland, Flevoland and the Wadden Islands. In the course of the afternoon, the wind gusts become less powerful.
Showers are moving across the country from the northwest. There are many cumulus clouds, but every now and then the sun comes out.
During the showers (heavy) wind gusts of 70 to 75 kilometers per hour can occur. The wind is also very gusty between the showers. In the northwestern coastal area, the wind can reach speeds of 90 kilometers per hour during showers.
In the afternoon, most showers will move over the center and north of the country. Fewer showers fall in the south and the sun breaks through every now and then. During a shower, a blow can prevent thunder. It will be 12 to 14 degrees.
In the evening the wind decreases in strength. The number of showers is also decreasing, but some light rain is still possible. In the night to Sunday, the temperature drops to 4 to 7 degrees.
