Stuttgart (dpa / lby) Lots of sun and summery temperatures – the weather in Baden-Württemberg has been at its best for days. A meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD) said on Monday, June 5, that it would remain mostly dry for the next few days. Accordingly, there will initially be no larger rain area. On a small scale, however, there may be short showers, especially on Thursday and at the weekend.

Temperatures up to 28 degrees

For Tuesday, the DWD predicts sunny weather with maximum values ​​of 28 degrees. In the southern Black Forest it can occasionally rain. On Wednesday the sky shows a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures between 21 and 28 degrees. In the north of Baden-Württemberg it should rain occasionally. Thursday starts out cheerful. During the day, heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible with highs of 27 degrees.

Forest fire danger at high level

According to the statements, a high pressure area has hardly moved over the last two weeks – which is unusual, but has happened more frequently in recent years. According to the DWD, the risk of forest fires was at level 4 in some places, which means a high risk.
