Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – Due to a cold front, changeable and windy weather is expected in Hesse on Thursday, sometimes with black ice, gusts of wind and snowfall. The morning will be heavily overcast, it will be rainy in the north and there is a risk of black ice, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in the morning. More rain showers are to be expected towards evening. The temperatures reach a maximum of four to six degrees. There are gusts of wind in the mountains. According to the DWD, rain showers are expected during the night, and snow and ice at up to minus three degrees are expected in the mountains.
Friday will be very cloudy with a few light rain showers at five to eight degrees. On Saturday, the DWD predicts mild temperatures of up to ten degrees, but there are also strong to stormy gusts.
