Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – A strong cold front ensures cool and changeable weather in the coming days. In Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, according to the German Weather Service (DWD), the maximum daily temperatures are in the single digits at least until Thursday. There is also an unpleasant mix of rain, snow and sleet showers. “The weather will only calm down a little on Friday,” said a DWD meteorologist in Offenbach on Monday.
On Tuesday, the maximum values are reported to be between four and seven degrees. There is frost at night. On Wednesday there is a fresh north-westerly wind with strong to stormy gusts. Only on Thursday there is a little more sun again and the temperatures go up a little, with maximum temperatures between seven and ten degrees.
