Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – Friendly and sunny, then heavy showers or thunderstorms: The weekend in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland will be changeable. The German Weather Service (DWD) announced that it was initially still partly cloudy on Friday before there was increasing cheer in the afternoon. Mostly it is dry – with maximum temperatures of 23 to 26 degrees. There is most sunshine in the south.
On Saturday there was a lot of sunshine and there was no precipitation, according to the meteorologists. The temperatures rise slightly to a maximum of 25 to 29 degrees. In the evening there is a slight risk of thunderstorms in the Eifel. Heavy showers or thunderstorms in certain areas finally occur on Sunday, according to the DWD. Heavy rain up to the storm area is also possible locally. In the evening the weather calms down again.
