Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – In Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland it will remain warm in the coming days. More and more showers and thunderstorms are to be expected, as the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced on Tuesday. After a clear to sunny start to Tuesday, clouds will increasingly appear in the afternoon. Short showers are possible in the north, in the Eifel and in the Westerwald there can be isolated thunderstorms. The temperatures are at a maximum of 25 to 29 degrees.
On Wednesday it should be gray in many places. In some areas, the DWD expects showers and individual thunderstorms, locally also with heavy rain. The maximum values are 27 degrees on the Upper Rhine and 19 degrees in the Eifel. It continues on Thursday with changing to heavy clouds and increasing showers and thunderstorms during the course of the day. Sometimes there can be heavy rain and hail with small grains. On Friday it should be mostly dry with maximum temperatures between 25 and 29 degrees.
