Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – The weekend brings Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland warm summer weather. On Saturday it was often sunny with maximum values between 22 and 27 degrees, the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Friday in Offenbach. At night it cools down significantly, in the Eifel it can even get as low as four degrees. A similar picture emerges on Sunday. The maximum values climb to 25 to 30 degrees in summer, and no precipitation is foreseeable so far.
That changes at the beginning of the week. The DWD expects numerous rain showers and sometimes heavy thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail on Monday. There is a risk of storms locally.
