Whistling, they drove through the Duisburg Dellviertel. Passengers are said to have hung out of the windows, according to eyewitnesses. A boisterous motorcade of a Syrian wedding party caused a stir on Saturday night.

"Around 10:20 pm, attentive witnesses reported that twelve vehicles on the Friedenstrasse were partly noticed by strange driving behavior," said a police spokesman.
Some drivers were falsely driven with hazard warning lights and way too slow. "When our civilian drivers hit Musfeldstrasse, they barely trusted their eyes: they were actually driving over red so as not to lose the column," the Duisburg police say.

Four of twelve drivers without a license
Reason enough for the officials to stop the party-loving wedding party and to control the persons. And the guards were right on their assumption: Four of the twelve drivers drove without a license and therefore have now an ad on the cheek.
But even a passenger is held to account: "He gets a holder display, because he as a vehicle owner has driven someone without a driver's license."
18-year-old with the wrong license plate on the way
Another driver (18) drove the wrong way through the area. "He had already deregistered the number plate and just kept using it," said the policeman. In addition, his car had not been insured. The Police Duisburg: "He has not paid the car tax."
The 18-year-old now has to answer for document falsification, violation of the compulsory insurance law and the tax code. An alcohol scent took the officials in the wild troupe not true.
