More than 250 rescue workers on duty

Mayor Michael Thater was not very optimistic about the assumption of costs by the insurance company during the municipal council meeting.

Thater praised the firefighters in Wehr and the surrounding area for the outstanding cooperation. Over 250 people were deployed, and there was also support from the neighboring district.

The company suffered damage of around 20 million euros as a result of the fire, Mayor Thater continued. The planning application for the reconstruction is currently being prepared. In addition, the company was able to accommodate its production area in the halls of a friend of mine.
