Arsne Wenger is living history for Arsenal and the Premier League. The Alsatian coach, who directed the ‘Gunners’ between 1996 and 2018, has the record for games directed in the English League: 828.
Wenger, who led Arsenal to win the last three Leagues in its history (1998, 2002 and 2004), has fueled the hopes of the ‘gunners’, who lead the Premier after adding 18 points out of a possible 21. One point ahead of Manchester City and Tottenham.
“Say what Arsenal have a good chance [de ganar la Premier] this season because I don’t see any super dominant team”, has recognized ‘Sky Sports’.
Wenger justifies his reasoning. “It’s a bit of a special season because the World Cup is in between and you don’t know how it’s going to affect the performances of the players and the teams. For all these reasons, I think yes, Arsenal have a good chance this season.”
The former Arsenal manager supported the signing of Mikel Arteta. They already know each other. The now Gunner coach played 150 games, scored 16 goals and distributed 11 assists under Wenger.
