Fans speculate about Wenger as a new Bayern coach: "First lineup" makes for laughs

Bayern were after the bumpy 2-0 victory in the Champions League against Piräus taciturn: Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic did not want negotiations of FC Bayern Munich with coach Arsène Wenger
 to confirm.

  • After the separation from Niko Kovac, the former assistant coach Hansi Flick will act as interim coach until further notice.
  • Salihamidzic, whose players had just moved into the second round of the Champions League, said after the game: "Of course I will not comment."
  • The "Bild" newspaper and the "Guardian" had reported that it had already come to a contact between Bayern and the 70-year-old Frenchman. A personal meeting is planned.

In an interview with reporters the sports director wortkarg: "We will calmly, without pressure, choose the coach who
in our opinion the right one is. "Calm, without pressure – that is not known in many English newspapers, which accompanied the former Arsenal coach Wenger, who trained the Gunners for 22 years.

In his live blog, the boulevard-sheet was already rising to design a lineup that could put Wenger in Munich on the court.

The Bayern fans saw a screenshot from the blog on Wednesday evening for laughter.

Bayern-Ex Kovac would have liked such a starting lineup – Many players of the fictional "Sun" creation is currently playing, not at all for Bayern. With pain in Munich one remembers the months-long transfer theater around Leroy Sané, which finally failed, when Sané suffered a cruciate ligament tear just before the end of the transfer window. The 23-year-old DFB star remained injured at Manchester City. In the "Sun" performance, Sané meanwhile played well for Bayern – not the only conspicuous thing.

That offensive force Coutinho Wenger suddenly serves as a defensive six, and that Mesut Özil abruptly forgets the hostility of Still Bayern boss Uli Hoeness ("Has the biggest dirt!"), And how Sané suddenly appears on the Säbener road, applies to Bayern connoisseurs as rather excluded.

We have not even mentioned the change of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, who was apparently already confirmed for the "Sun", and the lightning shot by defender Niklas Süle …

In the net, the contribution made the worry-plagued Bayern fans for a moment of encouragement: One user wrote: "If Uli 'Özil' sees in our lineup, he gets a heart attack." Another said ironically: "Of course, an interim coach brings 15 players, that's the way it always works."

Bayern coach Flick thinks of the game against Dortmund

While English editors are already dreaming of Wenger in Munich (and people are laughing on the internet), the real-life interim coach Hansi Flick has to deal with reality.

After the home win against Piräus on Wednesday evening counts for Flick only the upcoming task on Saturday in the Bundesliga top match against Borussia Dortmund. "It's a job for me for the two games," said Flick in the press conference after the Champions League game.

He enjoyed the 90 minutes in the responsibility. "It does not interest me at all what happens after Saturday," Flick had previously said on TV channel Sky.

Flick could keep the Bayern after a commitment of Wenger. The Frenchman is also said to be ready to work with Flick on a commitment.
