52% of the rivers in Rhône Alpes are in good ecological condition, while 81% of groundwater aquifers show good chemical condition.
This is what emerges from the new report on the state of water published by the Rhône Mediterranean Corsica Water Agency. It should be noted that for all of its basins, water quality has improved thanks to the significant drop in organic pollution. Ammonium concentrations, for example, have been divided by 20 in 30 years. Regarding micro pollutants, the level of metal concentration in rivers has been divided by 6 in 15 years.
