WhatsApp unveils a new feature reserved for holders of good smartphones – La Nouvelle Tribune

On the WhatsApp messaging app, it is now possible to copy texts directly from an image. The existence of this new feature was announced by the site WABetaInfo which indicates that it is an innovation in the list of recent news of the messaging service. It will be enough precisely to open in the application the photo containing the text, to select it to copy it thereafter. The only difference on this feature is that it is not present on all laptops.

For now, the messaging service has not made any announcements related to this feature. But it is already present on the stable version of its application for iPhones. The functionality would still come from a API d’iOS. It would simply be an implementation made by the WhatsApp messaging service. Note that for several months, the messaging application has been chaining innovations.

The last announcement that was made is in connection with a possibility of modifying texts already sent. Thus, it is in the latest beta of the application on iOS, that the media has found some clues, which allow it to deduce the imminent arrival of the new feature. Users will therefore have a few minutes to correct a message sent by mistake. WhatsApp will also set a time limit of 15 minutes for a user to benefit from this feature.
