Currently, when forwarding a voice message, you cannot speed up the audio because the playback speed button is not available.

Meta’s proprietary WhatsApp instant messaging platform launched the ability to change the playback speed of voice messages in May. Now the company is working to bring the same feature to forwarded audio messages.

According to the WABetaInfo report, when forwarding an audio, it is not possible to speed up the playback because the speed button is not available. The new feature is coming soon.

The feature was identified in a recent beta version of WhatsApp for iOS, but it is currently in development and will certainly come in future beta versions of WhatsApp for Android as well.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also developing some new apps for macOS and Windows users.

WhatsApp is developing new applications for Windows users. It is said to be an application based on the Universal Windows Platform that was developed from scratch.

The application will include a drawing function that will be particularly useful for devices with touch screens.
