Acer Swift 3: the featherweight
Even lighter than the Zenbook UX425EA (1.19 kg for a thickness of only 15.95 mm), the Swift 3 d’Acer is no less powerful. It embeds a Ryzen 7 4700U processor (an octo-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 4.1 GHz), 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Its 14-inch matt IPS screen can display Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), the manufacturer’s Color Intelligence and ExaColor technologies to improve color contrast.
In terms of connectivity, the Acer Swift 3 is complete, with an HDMI output, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 port and a USB 3.2 Type-C connector, in addition to the classic microSD memory card readers and combo jack connector. The set is of course delivered with Windows 10. Acer’s Swift 3 also incorporates a fingerprint reader as well as WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 controllers. Its 3-cell battery finally offers a maximum autonomy of 11 hours.
HUAWEI MateBook 14 2020: QHD and a real GeForce

Relatively light (1.53 kg) and thin (15.9 mm thick overall), this notebook is also equipped with a webcam, a fingerprint reader , a backlighting system for the keyboard and WiFi 5 (unfortunately no WiFi 6) and Bluetooth 5.0 controllers. The connection is finally almost complete: there is a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports (one standard 2.0 and a second USB 3.0), an HDMI output and an audio jack connector, but the memory cards is unfortunately absent subscribers.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7: the 2-in-1 touchscreen tablet

Thus, it will be necessary to be satisfied with only 8 GB of memory, a Core i5-1035G4 processor (a quad-core model with HT, clocked at a frequency of 1.1 GHz with a Turbo at 3.7 GHz) and ‘a small 128 GB SSD to keep a reasonable price, to which you will still have to add the keyboard, sold separately.
This Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also benefits from a 12.3-inch touch screen (2736 x 1824 pixels), USB Type-A and Type-C ports, a memory card reader or two webcams. Light with a weight of less than 800 grams, this 2-in-1 tablet finally benefits from a good autonomy: count more than 10 hours of work possible under Windows 10 far from any electrical outlet.
ASUS Vivobook S: with a real numeric keypad
The lack of a real numeric keypad can sometimes prove to be a real handicap for certain office tasks. If this is your case, the Vivobook S d’Asus might just become your next crush. This notebook is indeed equipped with a real numeric keypad, complete, that the manufacturer has succeeded in inserting into a standard 15.6-inch chassis, also including a matte IPS panel displaying Full HD definition.
The Vivobook S is offered in many versions, but the one we are interested in is equipped with a Ryzen 5 5500U processor, 16 GB of RAM (including 8 GB soldered to the motherboard) and a 512 GB SSD. The connection is complete since there is a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, an HDMI output and a microSD card reader. Connectivity is on the other hand slightly behind: no WiFi 6 but only WiFi 5, and Bluetooth is limited to version 4.1. The whole remains light (1.8 kg), but the autonomy is “only” 6 hours because of the presence of a 3-cell battery of only 42 Wh.
HUAWEI MateBook D 16 AMD 2021: Ryzen CPU and 16.1-inch display
Huawei’s Matebooks are definitely great products, so it’s no surprise that in addition to the 2020 MateBook 14, the MateBook D 16 AMD 2021 is also part of our selection. Here we are entitled to an AMD platform based on a Ryzen 5 4600H (8 cores with SMT) with a 16.1-inch Full HD IPS display, all for less than 1.8 kg. The rest of the components are of course up to the task since there are also 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, the whole measuring only 18.4 mm thick.
The manufacturer has forgotten almost nothing in terms of connectivity and connectivity since there is a jumble of WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a 720p webcam (hidden in one of the keys in the upper row of the keyboard), two USB Type-ports. C (with DisplayPort and charging compatibility), two USB 3.2 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, and one audio connector. Only the memory card reader is missing. Finally, we will appreciate the presence of a fingerprint reader and a backlit keyboard. Autonomy is finally rather average: we measured nearly 9.5 hours under PC Mark in our test of MateBook D 16 AMD 2021.
HONOR MagicBook Pro: a 16-inch screen at a reasonable price
the MagicBook Pro de Honor is an evolution of the MagikBook launched last year, which was itself a clone of Huawei’s Matebook D 2020. This new version is more efficient thanks to its Ryzen 5 4600H processor and equipped with a larger screen. We are indeed entitled here to a 16.1-inch panel, capable of displaying a Full HD definition (1920 x 1080 pixels). Lightweight (1.7 kg) and ultra-thin (16.9 mm thick), the MagikBook Pro has an aluminum chassis.
Alongside the Ryzen processor, there are 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The connection differs a little from the Matebook D 16 since there is only one USB Type-C port here (which is also used for the notebook charge). Three USB Type-A ports and one HDMI output are also available, as is an audio jack connector. The fingerprint reader, the webcam integrated into a key in the upper row of the keyboard or the absence of a memory card reader finally confirms the relationship between this MagicBook Pro and the Matebook D from Huawei. The autonomy is finally rather good since PC Mark worked for 10:35 during our test of this MagicBook Pro.
