Who is Frédéric Souillot, who succeeds Yves Veyrier at the head of Force Ouvrière?

It is blowing a breath of fresh air on Force Ouvrière (FO). Less than four years after being elected, Yves Veyrier, the current general secretary of the union, will leave his post. To succeed him, Frédéric Souillot has a free hand: he is the only candidate in the running, since the withdrawal of the current boss of the General Federation of FO civil servants, Christian Grolier.

At 54, Frédéric Souillot will therefore, in all likelihood, take the lead of Force Ouvrière this Friday. A member of the confederal office since 2015, he knows the workings of the union well. He is currently in charge of the organization, the legal sector and the personnel.
