A family of wild boars chased a woman on Thursday after she ran errands north of Rome. They surrounded her, leaving her with no choice but to drop her shopping. The animals ate everything and ran away.
It is not the first time that wild boars have caused a stir in Italy. In October last year, an investigation was launched after police in Rome shot some wild boars, which are common in the city, in a children’s playground. The event sparked protests from animal rights activists and some local residents.
