Windows 10 Lean could be a slimmed-down version of Windwos 10. The installation takes two gigabytes less space than a normal Windows 10 Home or Pro installation. The storage space is probably saved by desktop backgrounds and preinstalled apps and games are missing. In addition, the registry editor is completely missing. All required drivers must be downloaded manually. More information is not yet known. Many fans had wanted a more economical version of Windows 10. Whether Microsoft delivers these with Windows 10 Lean now or whether it is only a kind of internal test run, has not been officially commented.
