Six children suffered serious injuries after an inflatable slide collapsed at Woking Fireworks.
The children were taken to the major trauma centers in London after the horror incident in Woking Park, Surrey, tonight.
An eyewitness said people panicked as the police escorted thousands out of the park to make room for an ambulance.
South East Coast Ambulance said six children had suffered serious injuries, but the paramedics confirmed that they treated a total of seven patients.
The organizers of the event said in a statement, "I'm sorry, but the police have asked us to clear the park for a major incident in the entertainment district.
"The firework will therefore not take place tonight."
Eyewitnesses reported numerous emergency vehicles, involving about 12,000 people.
