Woman parks with disabled person’s card of deceased relative… (Antwerp)

On Thursday, in the Beggaardenstraat in the center of Antwerp, the police district team checked a car that was parked in a place reserved for people with disabilities. “There was a parking ticket for people with disabilities in the car, but inquiries revealed that it had not been active for three months. Its holder had already died three months earlier,” said Wouter Bruyns, spokesman for the Antwerp police zone.

Police had already called a tow truck when the owner of the car showed up. Her driver’s license was revoked for a period of fifteen days. “Because of the antisocial parking behaviour,” it reads. A relative of the woman moved the car.
