Working in high heat – STP

There are no regulations setting a minimum or maximum temperature level prohibiting work.

However, the employer has a safety obligation and must, therefore, carry out an assessment of the thermal environments in his company.

This assessment will then make it possible to put in place preventive measures adapted to work in hot weather.

These measures could, for example, be organizational, by allowing an adjustment of working hours, technical, by equipping the premises with air conditioning or even human, by informing the staff of the risks associated with working in hot weather.
