Xiaomi has a lot of news to present at the end of March and let’s not forget the event in Romania on March 23 aimed at introducing the phones from the Redmi Note 12 series locally. But we are not talking about phones in this article, but about the new televisions that the company announced today on the Chinese market, the models S65 and S75.
As the title of this post says, TVs stand out through panels with 144Hz refresh rate, thus being ideal for gaming on the latest generation consoles. We also have HDR10 support, 94% coverage of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and MEMC.
We get 24W stereo speakers, Dolby Vision Atmos, and DTS:X, and for hands-free control there are far-field microphones that take voice commands. The TVs have 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, come with WiFi 6, 3x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2x USB 3.0 ports and 1x Ethernet port. They have NFC, IR emitter and Bluetooth 5.2.
For gaming we also have VRR, plus AMD FreeSync. Models have 65respectively 75 inch, with narrow edges of the screen and the resolution is 4K. As an OS we have MIUI TV with support to control other devices as well. Here are the prices in China:
