Yannick Mamilonne new C’Chartres Football striker

The C’Chartres Football of coach Jean-Pierre Papin and his new collaborator Kader Chehida, whose return to the club is confirmed, has its top striker for the next season.

After defender Abdoulaye Fofana and midfielder Amine Hémia, the CCF has enlisted the experienced professional Yannick Mamilonne, present at the resumption, this Monday, June 28, for a first day dedicated to medical tests and the administrative component.

The imposing Guadeloupe, 29 years old, 1.90 m for 87 kg, arrives from Chambly. He was sidelined from the Ligue 2 group in January 2020, in the middle of the first of his two seasons in the Oise. “It’s the worst club I’ve ever made. They’ve ruined part of my career and I’m in the process of dealing with them,” said the father of a little girl.

If he did not play a single match during the last exercise, Yannick Mamilonne had already frequented the lawns of Ligue 2 in his career. At this level, he has a total of 59 appearances, including 28 tenures, under the colors of Amiens (2016-2017), Quevilly (2017-2018), Paris FC (2018-2019) and Chambly (2019-2021). During these 45 games, he scored 9 goals.

Yannick Mamilonne confides:

There are a lot of regrets for me in my career. I feel like I have never exploited my full potential. I was never given the chance to do a full season as a No.1. I often arrived when there was internal tension and I was given a bad label from which I suffered. It’s true, I have character and I can sulk. But everything has always gone very well with my teammates. And when you keep your word with me, there is no problem.

Without a satisfactory proposal and wanting to focus on an experience near the Paris region, Yannick Mamilonne agreed this summer to go down two floors to sign at C’Chartres Football. “I still consider myself a pro player and that shocks me a bit, he admits. But the project is interesting and I really appreciate the president Gérard Soler as well as Kader Chehida”.

18 goals with Poissy in 2015-2016

Previously spent by Plaisir and Les Mureaux, he had rubbed shoulders in 2015-2016 at Poissy for a full season in National 2 during which he had scored 18 goals in the league, 24 in all competitions.

C’Chartres Football hopes that it will plant as many and especially that it will help it to climb in National. Powerful and fast, Mamilonne can evolve across the front of the offensive line. But, as a right-hander, he has a little preference for the left side where he can transplant on his right foot.
