Yaroslavl deputy trampling his iPad proposed to abolish the pension

The deputy of the city Duma of Yaroslavl, Dmitry Petrovsky, spoke out for the complete abolition of the old-age pension in the country and offered to leave only disability payments. About this he wrote on his page on Facebook.

“Eliminate the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation! Fully. Property to sell. Officials – to work. Personally, I am for the abolition of the concept of "retirement age" in general and the structure of the Pension Fund. I am against raising the retirement age, because I am against the very idea of a pension, ”wrote Petrovsky.

According to him, every Russian should himself determine how much he will work and what he will live in old age. In a conversation with Kommersant, he clarified that only those who worked during the Soviet Union are entitled to receive old-age pension.

In September, the retirement age for women was increased from 55 to 60 years, for men – from 60 to 65 years. At the same time for deputies and senators there is a pension allowance for experience of more than five years. Many parliamentarians of retirement age stated that they are not going to refuse it.

In April, Dmitry Petrovsky became famous for having trampled on his iPad and recorded it on video. He called his actions a response to US sanctions.
