You have a “meeting in the gardens” this weekend near Angers

Contemplate or rediscover the beauty of the gardens near us. This, to sum up, is one of the objectives of the “Rendezvous in the Gardens” event. And on the program for this 20^e edition placed under the theme of music: concerts, acoustic walks and sensory experiences.

2200 parks and gardens participate everywhere in France, and in particular at the Camifolia Garden, based in Chemillé-en-Anjou. Its mission is to “promote the sector of health, beauty and well-being plants, in particular chamomile. He does 3,5 hectares and present 600 species of plants essentially medicinal and utilitarian”described for us Éléonore Viez, in charge of entertainment.

Initiation, demonstration and show

Created in 2008, the Camifolia garden has a total of seven permanent employees, and doubles its workforce between the months of May and October with a team of seasonal workers. And this year, the site has decided not to do like everyone else by not offering any activity around music. However, many things are planned.

Éléonore Viez gives us the list of activities that we will be able to follow: “there will be an introduction to tree seeds, a demonstration of essential oil distillation with our still, the opening of the seed shop, and ESA students come to do a workshop on the maintenance of the natural house, without forgetting a show called ‘Les Herbes Folles'”.
