Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the forces and units of the Russian army on the liberation of the entire city of Artyomovsk “Bakhmut” in the Donetsk Republic in the Donbass from the Ukrainian forces and their mercenaries. In turn, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky admitted the loss of his forces to the city.

“Novosti” agency stated that President Putin congratulated Wagner’s forces and the Russian army on the liberation of Artyomovsk in the Republic of Donetsk, and directed that the names of the heroes of the operation be raised to award them the medals of honor they deserved.

Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of the city of Artemovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic from the control of the Ukrainian regime forces and their foreign mercenaries.

Earlier, the founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that by Saturday noon, the last section of the city had been captured, the tall buildings that some call the plane.

In turn, the head of the Ukrainian regime, Vladimir Zelensky, admitted yesterday that his armed forces had lost the city of Artyomovsk in the Donbass.

On the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima, in response to a question about whether Artyomovsk was still under the control of the Ukrainian army, Zelensky admitted losing it.

In addition, the Russian army inflicted heavy losses on the Ukrainian forces, in personnel and equipment, with two brigades belonging to the forces of the Kiev regime and the infantry regiment at the Nevsky site.

“Novosti” agency quoted Alexander Savchuk, head of the press center of the “Center” group in the Russian army, as saying yesterday: that the reconnaissance forces of the group detected at the Nevsky site and in the Serebryansky forest area, during the past day, the movements of two Ukrainian brigades, namely the 66th Mechanized, the 58th Mechanized Infantry, and Regiment No. 15, and immediately the artillery of our group targeted these hostile forces with its fire and inflicted heavy losses on personnel and equipment.

The Russian officer pointed out that the forces of the Russian Army Group targeted, with “Smerch” missiles, positions of the Ukrainian army on the Krasnolymansky direction, in addition to opening artillery fire during the artillery sparring and suppressing the positions of enemy field guns and mortars.

The head of the press center of the Russian military group pointed out that Russian warplanes bombed ammunition depots, strongholds, and points of temporary deployment of Ukrainian forces, in the areas of the residential centers of Yambolovka, Kremnaya, and Chervonaya Dibrova.

It is noteworthy that, since the launch of the special military operation on February 24, 2022, Moscow has set its goals to protect the population of the Donbass region, eliminate threats to Russia’s security, oblige Ukraine to military neutrality, and eliminate Nazi tendencies in it.

Meanwhile, the speaker of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, said: The council will consider (today) Monday the issue of taking measures against Poland, including the transit of trucks through the territory of Russia.

“Novosti” agency quoted Volodin as saying yesterday that Poland will incur losses that may amount to about 8.5 billion euros, adding: It would be right to prevent Poland from benefiting from Russia today, and the passage of Polish trucks through Russian territory should be stopped so that they reload the goods. on Russian trucks for the benefit of Russian companies.

Volodin stressed that Poland exists as a state only thanks to Russia, but Poland is nevertheless working to falsify and reject history, desecrate and bulldoze the graves of Soviet soldiers and close Russian schools.

Volodin pointed out that the Soviet people in particular spent in the post-World War II period more than 750 billion dollars “according to today’s estimates” on rebuilding and developing Poland, during which more than 800 industrial, energy and transport facilities were built.
