During the meeting, Zelensky noted that Ukraine is undertaking large-scale transformations focused on the implementation of European and Euro-Atlantic standards.

“The support of partners and allies, especially the United States, is extremely important for us,” Zelensky said at the meeting.

The President stressed that the development of economic and investment interaction between Ukraine and the United States is one of the most important priorities for further partnership between the countries.

“I invite you to become a part of the transformation process of Ukraine,” Zelensky said to business representatives.

Also, the Ukrainian leader said that Ukraine has developed an ambitious plan for changes in the state.

“We very much count on the support of our partners, primarily the United States, which will allow us to carry out the transformation in a short time,” he stressed.

In addition, the head of state briefed investors on the situation in Donbass and the challenges in the energy sector in the context of the Nord Stream 2 project.

It is known that Zelensky arrived in New York to attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. The annual debate runs until September 27th.
