The cantonal police in Winterthur, together with an official from the intercantonal gaming supervision (Gespa), checked ten catering establishments for illegal gambling, as announced on Saturday. The companies, the operators and the guests were checked.
In a restaurant, the officials came across a poker game with eight people. The organizer, a 50-year-old Turk, was reported.
During further checks, one person was arrested for unpaid fines. Three people who were stopped by the police were wanted by the police for the delivery of official documents and orders.
