Ittihad Jeddah duo, Brazilians Marcelo Grohe and Romarinho da Silva, are close to leaving Al-Ameed with the current winter transfers, after entering the free period in their contracts.

According to the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper, Brazilians Romarinho da Silva and Marcelo Grohe are currently studying the offers presented to them after entering the free period, which allows them to sign for any club without returning to Al-Ittihad.
She pointed out that Romarinho has offers from Al-Shabab Saudi Arabia and Al-Sadd of Qatar, along with two clubs from Turkey and the Emirates, adding that negotiations are still ongoing between the player and Al-Lioth, and the only obstacle is the duration of the contract between the two parties.
She confirmed that the players will join the next federal team camp during the current suspension period until their final decision is made.
She reported that there is a tendency among the management of Al-Ittihad Club Company to keep 8 foreigners on the team’s roster during the current winter transfer period, as it currently includes 10 players.
The newspaper stressed that Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy will be re-registered in the list of eight foreigners in the Professional League system.
